seeing how much the next patch is going to change Menace, I think I'm going to shelve it and let them cook, and I'll probably be starting a Phantom Brigade campaign next.

I was told that piercing works really well against armor, and the heavy spears (I forget their actual name) in the right hands can stab through some of the lighter tanks.
the armored car at your ship is always a fun time. I had that during a terror map and it didn't go well.
we're going to be streaming next and trying to finish up Mouse P.I. youtu.be/3apty2zV_rM
New review is up for Haunted Lands and Raider Kid and the Ruby Chest. One, a very challenging action-adventure, and the other is a great short form metroidvania youtu.be/ciMLkYCMf0E

I'm debating doing another run of Selaco or maybe go back and replay Amid Evil, as I'm in the mood to play a challenging FPS.
for the stream tonight, we're back with more Menace youtu.be/WdeqZ6b8cxg
Going to be doing a little stream checking out Sol Cesto 1.0 next youtu.be/ONiJJbft-8g
I keep getting suggestions to watch the entire Youtube space of 100% achievement hunters and it seems like it's become another youtuber market for people to do.
I really enjoyed it; I hope we see more from that team at some point.
Boss fight in Morimens with an unstoppable attack.
working my way through Morimens before their next big update, and the game throws this at me, I don't think the heart of the cards is going to work this time.
doing some student judging at the moment and one of the games had an unintentional jump scare that got me good, unfortunately, horror wasn't the theme for the event.
I just got a press email that Nikke is celebrating its 3.5 year anniversary and I can't believe it's been that long already .
The more I play of Mouse P.I. the more the game is bugging me, and unless there's a big act 3 reveal that goes over my complaint, there is a huge gameplay rant I need to go on about it.
Just finished trying the Celsius Strays demo from @cowcatgames.com and this looks like it will be a treat for visual novel fans store.steampowered.com/app/4272400/...
for the stream tonight, we're continuing our play of Mouse PI youtu.be/TwWzpiH5Hzc
being disappointed with Mouse PI reminded me of one of my more out there game ideas -- a game inspired by Cool World where you can fight and move with all kinds of toon-related powers.
playing Mouse PI and the gunplay is reminding me of something like Bioshock, which is not what I was hoping for. The art and animation are still wonderful
for the stream tonight, we're checking out Mouse PI youtu.be/QDkq_gc3QOs
New review is up for Chainstaff by @mommysbestgames.bsky.social and how it's an easy pick for any fan of run and guns and a rocking soundtrack youtu.be/F4k9Blai_ww
is everything finally back up with Blue Sky?
I think I'm finally starting to get psychic powers. I just solved a puzzle in Lorelei and the Laser Eyes by just randomly playing around and got the solution, and I have no idea what the actual logic was for it.
just finished trying Morbid Metal and there's potential as an action roguelite, I'm curious to see how far the combat and the level design will get, as it does feel a bit samey after you get dodge counters store.steampowered.com/app/1866130/...
starting up next, it's time for my weekly #indiegamedev stream looking at upcoming and new indie games youtu.be/RHi7NXIu67Y
A quick video for today looking at three different incremental games that I enjoyed playing youtu.be/55XpJjUDbiY
I finished the base game of Hellclock last night and I'm of mixed thoughts about it. There was a sweet spot where the game was really good in terms of progress, but now that I'm in the end game, it's hard to get that same feeling.
for the stream tonight, we have a double roguelite play of Hellclock and Guidus Zero youtu.be/m9oQeplSC2o
The first part of my latest #indiegamedev interview is up today chatting with @indiegameclinic.bsky.social on game design, videogame academia, and more youtu.be/O9-U3sCznsc
