so much potential around every corner and yet most of it felt wasted. it's just disheartening as an artist and writer and as someone who holds trigun so dear to their heart, and as someone who sincerely adored stampede from day one.

his death held so much meaning in trimax and when he ended up surviving i was excited to see what orange would do with him from that point on, because really, there's a lot to explore!
but in the end it felt pointless. and that's kind of a recurring theme throughout stargaze's run.

i think where my greatest disappointment lies is how they did nothing *with* so many of those changes. wolfwood lived, and i thought maybe we would get to explore his character and his relarionships more as a result. but we. really didnt.

there's been a lot of hate towards os from the very start which has always made me sad because i think some of the creative choices orange has made werent always bad, and i had high hopes that the choices they made that we all didnt quite understand would be used to explore something new!

im disappointed as someone who loves stampede dearly because it was my introduction to trigun, because studio orange *can* and *has* done better before. and ive truly been rooting for them to show everyone that they could pull this off!!

shld clarify, no hate to anyone who did enjoy it. there are certainly parts i did like and even the finale had some imagery and symbolism that was very cool. just overall, i think the themes and a lot of the plot lines and character arcs fell very flat.

a WIP sketch of legato bluesummers, elendira the crimsonnail, millions knives, midvalley the hornfreak, and livio the double-fang/razlo the tri-punisher of death from trigun maximum. the piece isn’t finished but they r all taking a nap. elendira looks so happy to be here. legato has two of knives’ knives pinning back his emo bangs like hairclips. lr and elendira r holding hands and strangling midvalley, who is struggling, despite getting to cuddle no man’s land’s next top 3(4) models. his greed. knives is awake and watching kind of fondly/wryly. he’s definitely making fun of mv in his head. his hand is gently placed on legato’s head instead of. you know. cutting it off for shock value. TRIGUN STARGAZE. even the spine crunching wasn’t that insulting. man.

i was so sad about legato’s fate in stargaze 11 that i started sketching this almost immediately. gung ho nap time

Making a popular show is crazy cuz you can explicitly set certain things up through clues and symbolism and there will be people who are like "I see all that, and I'm acknowledging that I see all that... Anyway my theory is that the opposite is true. ☝️😀"

legato's death and knives piss beam were both so ridiculous and insane i realized from that point forward it wasnt worth my energy anymore. atp i only kept watching out of morbid curiosity

trigun stargaze finale was so mid i dont even have anything to be mad about anymore i just dont give a fuck about any of it.
