I am proud to announce $1.5 million for gate upgrades at
LAS Airport. I helped secure this critical funding to modernize our airport and support our travel and tourism economy.

This would ensure that our TSA workers receive a paycheck, that the Coast Guard can return to normal operations, and that FEMA grants can be distributed, all while we continue to negotiate proper guardrails to rein in ICE.

I just signed a discharge petition to force a vote on a bill I helped lead that would fund every aspect of the Department of Homeland Security except ICE.

Unfortunately, House Republicans do not seem to care that the President has overstepped his authority, involved us into yet another war, and put our servicemembers in harm’s way. (2/2)

BLM plans emergency roundup of wild horses in Nevada Nevada’s wild horses are often the subject of emergency roundups. Some say the BLM’s methods are inhumane.

I am concerned by the Bureau of Land Management’s proposed wild horse round-up outside of Ely this weekend. I am monitoring the situation and strongly urge them to utilize more humane methods to protect our beloved icons of the West.
