Maybe growing up with those *and* photorealistic high end AAA everywhere, easy to access, plays a role. You probably won't crave realitic stuff as much if you haven't been restricted to 3-polygon-per-character for years. In any case good news for us artists. More art direction, less rEaLIsms!
