Employment prospects for disabled people in the UK have stalled since 2019 - Lancaster University The Work Foundation at Lancaster University responded to employment of disabled people 2025 figures released by the Department for Work and Pensions.

Earlier today, the DWP's updated data on employment outcomes for disabled people showed that:
-Progress on closing the disability employment gap has stalled since 2019.
-for every disabled person moving into work, another in employment is leaving
-nearly half of young NEET people are disabled
