In 2.5 weeks i'll be leaving to go to Australia to visit family and friends. Can't wait....but also, the amount of work that needs to be done before then seems almost impossibly mega.

My amazing postdoc Sara Medina-Lombardero published this paper on wound healing earlier in the year. Did you know that when you get a wound, your skin adapts its structure to make sure the wound can recover without having forces put on it? How cool! 🧪

A big hello to all - I work at Heriot Watt Uni where our lab looks at how soft tissues change mechanically with health and disease, and then we try to develop simple sensors to measure these things. Maybe this is just a long winded way to say i poke stuff....
