Congratulations! If you ever visit Bay Area let me know!
Sleep is such an important but overlooked part of preventive & primary care! As of now in real medicine, the general screening that we offer is a really poor predictor for sleep much less dementia (not to mention the lack of access) so I’m so excited for the eventual implementation of this study!
The CDC's new childhood immunization schedule represents one of the most dramatic changes in childhood disease prevention policy in decades.

Bad framing: ACIP voted to scrap the universal hepatitis B vaccine recommendation for newborns.
Accurate framing: Anti-vax conspiracy theorists appointed to ACIP by Robert Kennedy Jr., who made a fortune as an anti-vax profiteer, voted to expose babies to a preventable, incurable, deadly illness.
Thank you so much! 😊
Thank you!
Pleased to announce I have passed the ABOM boards, & now a diplomate! That makes me…triple Board Certified (❗️) in internal medicine, clinical informatics, obesity medicine.
There is much synergy in informatics and IM/obesity med so I’m excited to explore new research & applied ventures!
Before my leave, I achieved something that probably only 3% of physicians (especially primary care) have ever achieved on the EMR: reach true inbox zero.
I’ll take that award! 🥇
Physicians engaging in advocacy is critical for climate health, especially in the cases of increasing AI usage and its impact on planetary health! Thank you for the feature @journalgim.bsky.social ! #medsky #informaticssky
Happy Halloween 🎃 ! I’m glad I got to do a most life stage appropriate costume and at least 3 people recognized me as Ali Wong. Big surprise for the few patients who established care with me today #halloween

A new study finds that "cheap" open-source AI models may be more expensive than proprietary ones due to lower token efficiency. They often use 1.5 to 4 times more compute tokens to perform the same task, offsetting their lower per-token cost. #MLSky
I don't know who needs to hear this, but believe in yourself, truly and freely, because that can be the difference between making the seemingly impossible happen to just bedrotting & dreaming away.
