"I work in Miro, coming up with the shape of the story in a flowchart... Miro really helps to visualize the plot, especially since games rarely follow a linear beginning to end flow." - @hjacksonwrites.bsky.social

Good luck to the Artemis II team today! And to Jeremy Hansen in particular, a Canadian from London, Ontario, where some of our team members are from.
This will be the first time humans have been to the moon since 1972.

We don't really know how or why Mercury formed. It defies many of the patterns we've come to expect.
The joint European and Japanese mission BepiColombo plans to change that.

Photo taken looking down into a black‑walled cylinder, at the bottom of which sits a large satellite with black panels and golden surfaces. On top of the spacecraft, we see the blue, shiny lenses of 26 large cameras. The cameras are mounted on a five‑stepped platform and arranged in four rows of six cameras, plus a top row with two cameras.

But, there's hope. There's always hope, and that's what we wanted to focus on:
the world working together to overcome the crisis.
If this happened today? Entire power grids would fail, oil pipelines would break, and the major internet cables would fry. Anything with copper? It'd be flooded with a direct current and overloaded. Satellite and dependent GPS systems would go down.
Chaos.
What was the Carrington Event?
In 1859, a coronal mass ejection (CME) from our sun resulted in a geomagnetic storm colliding with Earth. There was so much direct electrical current in our atmosphere that telegraph machines worked without being turned on. Electricity flowed down train tracks.
In short? Absolute and utter chaos, destruction, and a break down of society world-wide.
What if something like the Carrington Event happened now?
That was the question we decided to pose for First Moon of Mercury! So we talked to astrophysicists, astronomers, climate disaster specialists, and sociologists to see what they thought would happen.
