It’s important to support your kids expanding their food horizons. But that didn’t stop me from advising 10yo strongly against getting the highway rest stop lobster roll
I have no idea how accurate it is, but I LOLed when I first saw it
Similar idea, but for the periodic table
Gonna have to keep reposting this every few days forever now, huh?
When you’re feeling snacky but also want to pick up crumbs until the heat death of the universe
Friendster today
While we’re finding things wrong in that universe, here’s another one: Deep Thought was misunderstood. It didn’t say 42. It said, “For tea, two.” That’s the answer to life the universe, and everything
I was told I should get a CPAP ASAP, so I went to the ATM machine, but I couldn't remember my PIN number. May need some EMS services soon
What about when people say A-SAP for ASAP?
You see, in the multiverse, each individual universe has an official name that captures its essence. You are living in the HeadOn universe

You can do it if you use the tray table as a brace, but the flight attendants often yell at you if you try during takeoff and landing

Is…is @Chess.com subtweeting Democratic congressional leadership?
Artemis II was an amazing thing to behold from start to finish, and following through people in BlueSky made it feel so joyous and connecting. A rare moment of collective light in this mostly dark time

🎶 Don't gimme the beef, boys
Nor cod nor sole,
I wanna eat a green chili chicken bowl,
And drift away
Was listening to Disney songs w/ 7yo, and a song I had forgotten from Moana 2 came on. Got me thinking about most disappointing sequels. Moana 2 is up there. Matrix Reloaded is a top contender, as are Men in Black 2 and Terminator 3. But what is the biggest drop between a movie and its sequel?
You gotta love the look of vlasic jewelry
10yo exchange rates are wild. One (1) fidget spinner equals three (3) pieces of gum equals ten (10) minutes of playing a game at recess that 10yo didn’t want to play
This is from 2021, but it applies now more than ever:
"It’s finally here. That moment we’ve been waiting for. You’ve wanted it for years; I’ve wanted it a hell of a lot longer. Since 1967, when lawmakers were like, 'Damn, we forgot to make a plan if the president goes bonkers.'"
I really miss the reports we used to get back from our kids when they were in preschool. My all-time favorite was:
Me: How was school today kiddo?
4yo: All the teachers were home sick, so it was just kids today.
But all the kids are gonna love that number!
Let’s all say it together
But shall this crazed old man be tamely suffered to drag a whole ship’s company down to doom with him?
I move that “Copy moon joy” be the phrase of the year for 2026
Planted a magic seed this morning. I convinced 10yo that any time someone takes out a deck of cards he should say “Check this out. Jack of diamonds” and pull a random card out. It may take years or decades, but the magic will one day fruit, and it will be amazing
My kids complained about the length of the Passover Seder. So I noted that it was about half as long as the ones I had to go to when I was a kid, and then I remembered that my parents told me *the same thing*, and this, my friends, is Zeno’s Passoverdox.
Somewhere, the first Seder is still going…
