Thank you for the reply! I have a prehistoric Kindle that doesn't seem to read it, but I haven't tried the app yet, figers crossed. If that fails, I suppose it's time to upgrade.

Hi! Not sure if this is the right place to ask but: is it available only in epub format? Is there anywhere I can buy it in mobi format?
Thank you!
A commission for Newcon! This was a blast to draw but I lost my eyes on the little details @_@
It was never specified it was NOT an emperor's head now, was it?
I saw a still frame of a Pallas cat through a Pumpkin on @ascalaphid.com ...uh page? thread? Comments? how do I call this? ANYWAY it reminded me powerfully of the colossal statue of Constatine

This is what my job is like. To me, at least.
No, no treasures, no gold, though there is a kind of tresure in dirt.

2) I'm listening to (more than) 10 year old podcasts. They still have loads of stuff to teach me, but I like the updates as well. Outdates, rather.
It gives me comfort to know already how things are going to turn out: you don't have happy endings in real life, this is as close as it gets.
1) In the 17th to early 19th century European posh peeps would come to Italy to marvel at the ancient ruins. There's a Anglo Saxon poem about the remains of roman Bath: was it made by giants?
I like thinking of something glorious and mist-wrapped, rather than looking at the (rather garish) originals
But ttrpgs are a huge part of (my life) interests, so why am I mostly feeling this...uh... ennui? (What is a nostalgia without the fondness of a time you haven't experienced?) instead of being excited by future prospects?
I think it's two things: my fascination for ruins and the search for comfort.
I was listening to a Coleville youtube stream and he said that we are living in a golden age for (ttrpg) creators.
It gave me pause to think of this because I have long since felt quite the opposite in my fields of interest.
It's not strange that while one field is thriving, other struggle.
I just saw a robin poop.
Looks like he can scoop up and toss entire snowmen with those paws. Jeez, talking about snow artillery!
These days I'm obsessing over a comic idea. I have written an outline, sketched some frames, sketched some characters and outfits.
I'll never actually make it, of course, but it's fun to think about it.
Medieval church ceiling bosses often feature strange and facetious faces or animal or somesuch. I was reninded of your sketchbook faces, and had this image vividly popping in my mind
I am eager to see it once it's out!
How do you feel about architectural drawing? I'd love to see your critter monks' abbey. Would it be more woodland-y naturally shaped or more medieval historical?
The composition in this is SO good! I love it!
You should look at the stuff other artists do and get inspired by how awesome it is, not depressed that you can't do it!

This would be my favourite cryptid that literally actually might be even found in a crypt. So lovely!
I am now also following @foxes.hourly.media and think I should just quit my job and just doodle the photos I see. So cute!
GENIUS idea
Another photo picture from @hourlyyeen.bsky.social ; this time I got big JRPG character energy from the yeen

I can see two main phenotypes: squiggly dark and aloof white. Do they share the same environment? Do they inhabit different ecosystems? I would have both in my cursed pyramid. One type, possibly, studding the walls the white quarz chamber of doom.
These are so cool! I am morbidly fascinated by them; 10/10 I'd have them sculpted all over the walls of my cursed pyramid
Right? Right?! Every time I go from pencil to ink I feel like I kill all the depth and soul of a drawing
