@connormcd.bsky.social is an ACE Director according to that Mini-Portrait. Since when can Oracle employees be ACE Directors? Or has something happened we aren't aware of? ๐

Good point by Connor to add tiebreakers to the order by clause.
I will add: do NOT use default RANGE BETWEEN but please explicitly use ROWS BETWEEN !

Now that I'm thinking about it, I think my colleague was working on a 19.29 SE2 - my test was on an EE (I don't have an SE2 available right now.) I'll ask him when I see him, it's possible it's a standard edition thing...
Okay, it works fine for me too on 19.29.
My colleague must have been doing something else to get that error.
Enjoy your weekend and sorry for the disturbance ๐
Will try. Colleague is not available today, so not sure I can reproduce his issue. (It's not urgent, anyway.)
Strange, a couple weeks ago a colleague tried in a 19.29 to use this backported 'system:' wallet path and got "ORA-29248: an unrecognized WRL was used to open a wallet".
Have you gotten it to work in 19?
@martindba.bsky.social : What could cause the ORA-29248?
The traditional Kscope - preview is scheduled !

Budget resources. "The code may use maximum X memory, Y CPU seconds, Z network roundtrips, ..."
Once, they were real constraints - now you could consider enforcing such constraints in test packages.
Remember every byte is sacred!
(Disclaimer, I started with having to fit a program into 5K RAM ๐)
I don't care much for April Fool jokes, but when an old one gets to be so used that it makes it into a real RFC, I tip my hat to whomever invented that joke years ago๐

Bigger connection pool = faster app?
That's one of the most common myths in backend dev.
Join our webinar and learn how to actually size your Oracle connection pool โ with math, not guesswork.

Just curious:
Any particular reason for using the deprecated create_acl and add_privilege instead of append_host_ace?
