imagine... - 2024/25: The Academy of Armando imagine... profiles one of the great satirists of our age, Armando Iannucci, delving into classics such as The Day Today and The Thick of It and his new stage adaptation of Dr Strangelove.

Glorious #imagine documentary about the phenomenal #ArmandoIannucci - 9 minutes in, shining testimony & footage of the remarkably lifechanging Hillhead Library on Byres Road - my safe space of joy, books + music loans when I moved to Glasgow 20 years ago www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...

Not a direct answer, but when I was doing Time Gents I took my mother in law to a hospital appt. A large, loud-voiced porter came bearing down on us shouting my character’s catch phrase ‘helloooooooo!’ Frightened the life out of my poor m-i-l.

Hey lovely people. Something exciting to announce. I’m launching my own podcast. It’s called 3 People with Rebecca Front. My guest each time tells me about 3 people who changed their lives. I’ve got a terrific lineup. Coming soon (March, I think) wherever you get your podcasts.

BBC Radio 3 - Music Matters, Satire and the Stave, Satire and the State Chris Addison explores how composers have used music to challenge the power of the state.

From tomorrow, for six Saturdays, I’m presenting Music Matters on Radio 3. We’re calling it ‘Satire & The Stave’. There’s some fabulous and very interesting music that I hope you’ll get a kick out of. Will be on BBC Sounds and all that, natch.
