Well done.
Day 13 - a book with a color in the title. This was a phenomenal book that I couldn’t put down #books #booksky 📚⏳ #read #bookchallenge
Day 12 - A popular book you hated. The Alchemist. I hated it. I just wanted it to end. I know I’m in the minority. Everyone loved it and said it was life changing. #books #booksky #bookchallenge
What a future
Good luck! Love that you posted it under the cocktails page. 😂.
A colonoscopy at 37 saved my life.
I’ve thought this so many times.
Absolutely agree. It is phenomonal.
Day 10 - A book that makes you cry happy tears. The Happily Ever After Playlist. #books #booksky #bookchallenge
Day 11 - Literary character you want to have dinner with: Addie LaRue from The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue #books #booksky #bookchallenge

Challenge book
Day 8 - Favorite Book to Give as a Gift. My kids loved this book so much, especially my youngest. He would rhyme that last word on every page as a 1.5-2 year old. I buy it as the “card” for every baby shower I attend. #books #booksky #bookchallenge
I’ve picked up the chest cold that everyone around me has. My 15 year old son made homemade cookies. Such a sweetheart #food #foodsky #bake #bakesky #cookies
Day 7 - Best Audiobook for a Road Trip - we listened to this while driving out west between national parks. Arizona to Utah. It felt like we were on Mars with all the red rock (we are from Ohio, so the landscape was foreign to us). It was fun for us and our kids. #booksky #bookchallenge #scifi
Day 5 - Favorite classical novel. I refuse to play by the rules here - I love so many. #books #booksky #classicalliterature #classics #read
Nice. 👍🏼
Second Course: Lotus flowers
Third Course: kidney stew a la the Laestrygonians
Fourth Course: Polyphemus’ eyeball
Day 4 - I used to daydream of having a house with a grass and flower roof. #books #booksky #childrensliterature #childrenslit #read #ayalit #bookchallenge
Lovely, chef. And I like the “plating” (spooning) as well.
Frankie’s mom is giving Emily Gilmore vibes. #books #booksky 📚⏳ #gilmoregirls

We just finished The Substance, and I think I know what Heidi Klum’s Halloween outfit will be this year. #movies #moviesky #horror #halloween
Three phenomenal books this month. One meh. One re-read of a classic. Great month of good books. #books #booksky #read
I loved Of Mice and Men. I did not enjoy East of Eden. I plan to read The Grapes of Wrath this year as well.
While Skloot isn’t African American, I highly suggest The Invisible Life of Henrietta Lacks. It is nonfiction, related to science and medicine, and features a woman of color at the center of the story.
