Has anyone who makes digital art tried the True Grit Texture Supply RizzCraft system? I love the look of Risograph and I wanna try it, but the price tag is a little high for a set I may end up hating?

A woven band featuring small ornate images of four different ant species. The background is white and the ants are woven in brown. The band is being woven on a homemade loom with an oak leaf motif.

When love of weaving collides with love of insects 🐜✨ I’ve been so fascinated by ants with really unique morphology and I wanted to interact with them artistically. I design a pixel image for each ant and then weave them into a teeny tiny overshot band 😊

I made a quick little pouch out of my woven ant bands! I designed 8 pixel charts of different ant species for this project, sized so that each band would be the same length. I chose species with, in my opinion, some of the coolest morphology- especially love the big heads 🐜 #weaving #sewing #ants

A hand sewn crotch seam repair on a pair of yellow and black gingham pants. The stitching is color matched to the gingham

Another crotch seam repair, this one done by hand. The fabric had unraveled along the seam and created a hole, so I placed a black fabric patch underneath and reinforced with running stitches- aiming for subtlety!
