Vaccinate yes, but we must be cleaning our indoor air. Until governments take proactive measures people must protect themselves and their loved ones. Also, any healthcare/hospital worker that is not N95 masking is risking patients and other staff. #Cdnpoli #It'sAirborne

I Was Lucky Enough to Access a Life-Saving Vaccine. Millions Were Not. We Must Fix This Injustice. Madhukar Pai argues that COVID-19 vaccine inequity was a defining policy failure and that fairer access will require new manufacturing and political choices.

5 years ago, this week, I was lucky to receive my first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine that gave me a fighting chance during the pandemic

But millions were not as lucky...

Encountered a woman in a hospital lift in Melbourne OZ today. I was wearing my N95, she looked at me as she got on and in a disgusted tone asked, "are you sick?" Me "I wear an N95 so I don't get sick". Her, "I've never had COVID. Me, "do you test yourself?" I then explained asymptomatic illness.

Just wanted to remind folks, especially the GOP and the FDD, that Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal didn’t give Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz or allow it to keep 60% enriched uranium. It sent $1.7 billion to Iran versus the tens of billions Iran will now make from tolls. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Scientists invented a fake disease. AI told people it was real Bixonimania doesn’t exist except in a clutch of obviously bogus academic papers. So why did AI chatbots warn people about this fictional illness?

'Even more troublingly...the fake papers were then cited in peer-reviewed literature. Osmanovic Thunström says this suggests that some researchers are relying on AI-generated references without reading the underlying papers.'

Are there other likely mechanisms for these citations? Magic?

The big question is not so much about energy supplies but meta-power: who can control, politically exploit, and profit from energy supplies. Solar in particular threatens to de-commodify energy. And who wants that, except everyone who uses it?
