I'll throw this out there: if we want RGG to get better, it's not enough that we don't support Kiwami 3. Don't buy any of these games until the message is clear. A lot of these issues didn't manifest out of nowhere and it's why I dropped the series after Infinite Wealth.

Seeing the franchise that means so much to me lose so much of what made it special in such a short time is really frustrating. I legitimately don't have the words to describe my disdain for current RGG.

The genius behind removing most of the substories for Kiwami 3 is that players who do care about the trans substory are going to be deeply hurt and upset and players who don’t will be pissed off anyway because you took out like 70 side quests.

Yakuza as a franchise had existed for years and Majima as a character was a fan favorite since *day one* and when Yakuza 0 came out, they basically changed his entire character drastically from the ground up - and everyone loved it.

You can change stuff and still retain fans. They did it already.

Bayonetta 3 was worse IMO.

Really sucks to see the Yakuza franchise, a series I would have happily called my favorite for several years, just fumble all the good will it's accumulated and make me - and plenty of others it seems - want nothing to do with it.

I have fond memories but I doubt I'll be returning to Kamurocho.
