I have been so locked in on it I kinda forgot everything else lol
Like when I play Amare then I often notice the difference in writing the protagonist compared to Otome.
I noticed the "definitely not a woman" writing (reference to the video).
Not everyone notices or cares about this difference, but please don't dismiss those who do care.
Female protagonist that are actually written to show the female perspective are incredibly important.
Not to mention still incredibly rare outside Otome!
Many Otome fans do not want this to be forgotten in favor of other genders.
I think everyone confused why Otome fans push back against pronoun choice for MC should watch this video.
Because is the MC written as a woman or genderless when you can choose their pronouns?
If you can't answer "as a woman" then it's not Otome to me and many others.
I'm glad I preordered the digital edition too, because NetGames just informed me that they don't know when I will get my copy since Nintendo is only giving them copies portion by portion.
