Confirmation bias is real - check yourself regularly.
Have been listening to Tim Minchin and he reminds me I need to regularly check my confirmation bias.

Stepping out on your own, even with the training, knowledge and your network, there will still be unknowns, but it is the belief in yourself and a tenacity to problem solve that will enable you to take that next step.
Take action now
It is related, it's about taking action, stepping off the edge, believing in yourself.
You will never have all the information you need and at some point you have step off and trust you will grow.
I learnt to skydive at 45, I'm now 57 and have skydiving friends in their 70's still going strong. It pushes me to keep fit and alert.
Step out of your comfort zone.
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
But you have to take action, and stop just thinking about it😀
If I remember correctly, the subdomain, represented the service or machine you would expect to find so you would have "mail.", "ftp.", "gopher.", "web." I never liked "www." because it sounded weird when speaking with someone, usually family or customers, I thought "web dot ...." was easier
Hmm, born in 67, so I was using gopher & usenet before http, and I always thought “web.” would have been a better sub-domain 😀
This was my 2nd skydiving malfunction in 13 years. My heart rate reaches 196 bpm and they say you max heart rate is 220 less your age, that would put me at 24, ill take that 😀😂
updated my handle :)
Dear every website ever, I will never, ever enable notifications on your site.
This is something I need to do
This is the full photo in my profile, taken with my insta360 earlier this year.
This started as a brake fire malfunction and rapidly escalated, I was unable to free the stowed brake so had to cut away (@ approx 2,500 feet)
I abandoned twitter some time ago after it kept serving me cctv footage of people being assaulted and shot.
