@dammitjeff.com I blame you for this :P

I use Symfonium on Android. It's a paid app (30 month trial, one time fee to unlock... like $5). I have had no complaints with it.
Hey everyone! Don't forget that tomorrow is April 1st; a vestigial holiday in the Modern Internet where people used to consume misinformation for fun.
Gotta go full circle and get the FL studio anime dancing girl
@itch.io, do you do features on asset packs at all? I just added more to my public domain list and I feel like it'd benefit everyone if there were more eyes on it! :)

You're welcome! Hope you get some good use out of 'em :)
I don't really post much, but I felt like it was appropriate to share that I just added over 30 new songs to my free, CC-0 music loops asset pack. If you're doing #GameDev, these songs are for you :) tallbeard.itch.io/music-loop-b...
โYou keep asking why your work is not enough, and I donโt know how to answer that, because it is enough to exist in the world and marvel at it. You donโt need to justify that, or earn it. You are allowed to just live.โ

Time to dig up this evergreen chestnut.
Awesome! So glad it's working for you :D
I'm still holding on at 45th place ๐
What a cool concept! Wasn't expecting the whole thing to flip ha. Great song choice too :)
Thinking about this yesterday. A broken record, but capitalism is the original brain rot.
It *fundamentally* turns interactions into something adversarial: how much value can I extract from this interaction while protecting my assets.
Joy comes from sharing, joy comes from helping others grow.

First early look at my new retro survival horror game: Farfield. More to come in 2026!
a drawing of a cute cat making a statement about ai (it sucks)
oops it's her again
Screenshot of the game showing a character in a pool of light shooting at a monster at the edge of the light.
One thing that isn't conveyed very well in the video is that this is rendered at 320x180 and then upscaled to fit the screen, so the actual gameplay is crisp as heck.
Continuing work on this; a lot of improvements. Right now toying with the idea of ambient light fading over time. The thought being when you level up you "spend" your light for upgrades. No more light means boss time!
Trying hard to not over-scope this!
This was originally a Unity game back in 2023, but I've been rebuilding it in Godot. Took a bit of noodling, but I'm pleased with how it came together over the past few days.
I'm trying to build a "proper" game this time and not rely on hasty jam code to hack things together. Going OK so far!
A little thing that's cooking called Darkness Sleeps. Twin stick style game where the darkness is your biggest enemy.
Not sure if this is going to be an arcade style score attack or a more longer form Vampire Survivors roguelite. I'll probably srart with the former and see how it goes.
Happy to announce ICE CAREEN! This was made for the #FallingBlockJam
Play the game on itch here: ๐จ tallbeard.itch.io/ice-careen ๐จ
My first collaborative jam! Was definitely a new workflow. Made with @mikedebisco.com @hulex.bsky.social @exclamatia.neocities.org & @zbrh.bsky.social
Have fun ๐ฅฐ
My public domain music has contributed to 300 projects on itch (that I know about)! I keep a playlist of every game people share with me if you wanted to give some a peek :)

I made a game this past week for the Brackeys Game Jam! Proud of how it all came together. Will hopefully get more time to work on it in the future. It's a mix between Peggle, Ballionaire, and Balatro. Tried my best to add charm to it by using mostly photographs :)

This has been an idea lodged in my brain for the past 2 years. Finally cleaned up my shed enough to where I could actually make it. Still a rough draft, but I kinda really love it :D
Video alt: A section of branch plugged into the wall. When turned on, it illuminates the selenite chunk on top.
Just FYI that is absolutely not me ๐คฃ
Hey everyone! Don't forget that tomorrow is April 1st; a vestigial holiday in the Modern Internet where people used to consume misinformation for fun.
Video alt text: Black and white image of person lying in bed. Fire icons come out from under the blanket and the player drags the edges of the blanket around exposing the person underneath. If too much is exposed, areas turn blue indicating they are cold.
Pleased with how this is coming together!
When you are too hot, you get fire icons and too cold shows the hitbox in blue. Target values slowly drift over time so you'll never be perfectly comfortable. Starting to feel like a real game! After some tweaks, I can add more mechanics

New album ๐ฅณ
Drones for Drones is, well, drone music designed for office environments or other times when you need deep focus.
This album has been rattling around in my brain for 8+ years and I'm so happy to finally get it out there.
Enjoy! ๐
