The only time mine mention them is in relation to off the field activities , never the actual cricket

Again I agree , but did think it helped mine in relation to being away from home ie independence . Maybe it was because me and their mum separated when they were so young......

Same with age group cricket too . Just a money making racket imo . Difficult not to let talented kids go though , especially if teammates are going . Don't think mine gained anything/much from it except going festivals on their own
