I too frequently find myself collapsing and writhing in pain if someone brushes up against my shoe, Jamal Murray.

The war in Iran happening at the same time as the Artemis II mission is such a jarring contrast between the extremes of what we're capable of as Americans.
What is the Time Variance Authority even doing if they allow timelines like this to exist?

In this trying time for the Noem family, let’s make sure to respect their privacy every bit as much as they respect the privacy of the people of Minnesota.
Maybe lobotomies for 8 Supreme Court justices can be 1st amendment protected free speech.
We should probably have our stories straight, so if anyone asks, you were also shocked to see the Cervelo C3 Ultegra on deep discount at Costco today.
I’m consistently amazed that it’s even possible to manage transportation as badly as MPS has on the COVID / post-COVID / post-CDD era.
This is a performative war of macho posturing by third rate figures who mistake the audience of social media and right wing cable TV for the gravitas (?) of diplomacy and foreign policy. It would be comic if it was not so painfully tragic.
Reading a series where humanity in the distant future believes that AI imprisoned them in the distant past (see Dune, Terminator, The Matrix), but American oligarchs had actually been in control all along and AI was just a tool they used to enslave humanity, not the villain itself.
In other news…
Fascinating that Anthropic is the AI company that refused to let their tools be used for autonomous strikes and yet here we are.
(Queues up Bird-legged Ho on loop)
I always wonder if it physically hurts to write shit this fucking idiotic.

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.
I was too upset to sleep last night and wrote many versions of this post in my head as I lie awake. This is by far the calmest and kindest.
Monsters on the internet, safe behind their keyboards, had the gall to say he deserved what happened to him. Other monsters had the gall to say that only paid protesters cared about his death.
Before his lead-riddled body was even cold, the federal government lied about who he was and what he did in his final minutes.
When he saw a woman attacked by masked men on the street between Glam Doll and Vertical Endeavors, he chose to help her up, regardless of the consequences.
Alex Pretti came from a mid-sized city in Wisconsin to get his education in the Twin Cities. He chose to stay and work here into his adulthood and called the south side of Minneapolis his home. Riding his bike through the woods brought him joy.
Alex Pretti from his early days working at the VA
Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now
Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

Everything by Machine Games is coming back into heavy rotation.
Delightful
Really don’t want this to be Martyrapolis. I’d like us to all just to have the opportunity to lead our lives in peace.
Scanning deeper, seeing plenty of others posted. Faith in humanity still on thin ice, but it helps.
Automatic for the People by R.E.M CD cover
Haven’t seen this listed yet, which is wild to me.
WTAF in that hit on Jordan Love?!
All of the nostalgic content is about being young and “free range” in those days. Those kids’ parents were all stressed AF.
