The Blazers two mascots, Doug Fur and Blaze the Trail Cat. Sadly, new owner Tom Dundon is going to have to put one down.

Headlines ripping Blazers owner Tom Dundon for being cheap and cost-cutting.

TBH I absolutely hate that THESE are the headlines the Blazers are getting during the team's return to the playoffs. The players deserve so much more, this has been an amazing season and it should be a competitive series.

That said, it's good this dude's true colors are shining through so quickly.

Well it sucks to lose but at least there are no amazing photos of it.

I’m sorry, but leaving Bruce Ely in Portland for the team’s return to the playoffs for the first time in 5 seasons to save maybe $2000 is fucking bullshit and Dundon should just put the team back on the market if this is how he plans on running it.

I’d hoped for a little Matt Ishbia or Steve Ballmer energy, but honestly this is pretty much what I thought we’d get.

I did assume he’d wait until summer before he showed us his true penny pinching ways tho. Figured he could maintain status quo for a month.

The poor billionaire bought the team on layaway, then immediately asked for a government handout and stopped giving out free t-shirts.

Sounds Blazers fans are planning to go shirtless at Moda Center for games 3 and 4 vs the Spurs.

Should be a sight .

What’s more, we’re told, the team will roll out a new slogan “Rip City Runs Cheap” and fans will be asked to leave an item of clothing on their seat back before they leave the arena to benefit the Dundon foundation.
