f did a lot right, which is great. Great story, psychological horror, great enemy design. But that does not make a game SH. It does not follow any of the core aspects of SH. Is it a cool horror game? Sure! But it could have been called literally anything and still been good? Ya..
After much thought, Silent Hill f is not a Silent Hill game. It’s not the fact it didn’t take place in Silent Hill, which it didn’t. It’s how it went about the “other side”. It was not supernatural like every other SH, It was drug induced. Thats not saying it was bad, just not SH

For context this was in a system with a 9800x3D and RTX5090. The drops in FPS are caused by the CPU usage from higher polling rates increasing substantially. At the 8000hz rate it used a whopping 8% of the CPU. Just something to keep in mind :)
Tech Tip: For CPU heavy games or playing competitively do not set mouse polling rate above 2000hz. It's surprisingly impactful.
Baseline of 187fps, each rate below is after moving the mouse. Marathon|4K|Max|DLSS Quality:
8000hz: 146fps
4000hz: 157fps
2000hz: 177fps
1000Hz: 182fps

FYI: If you are a person who hates spoilers as much as I do. Always make sure to skip the "Recap" at the start of any episode of a show. They only ever recap things from the previous episodes that they plan to touch on in the episode you are about to watch. Really ruins surprises.
