Working third shift sucks sometimes like let’s see… I did not sleep before the appointment… and then I napped twice… somehow it does feel like yesterday but also last week at the same time

Vet called to see how Bucky’s been doing since yesterday’s appointment and the way Dizzy just sat next to my head and screamed at me the whole time 😭 like yeah she’s been doing fine, but it’s clearly time for me to go to bed according to another cat :-)

Was up for like… 19 hours or so. Took an hour long nap. Stayed awake for two hours. Settling back in for another nap 💀

Took a nap and then gave Bucky her first portion of wet food and oh my god the way she just devoured it 😭 found an easy way to sneak in the one pill she still has to take at least 💀

Sitting on the floor to give her some lovin’ and the way Dizzy keeps coming over to rub on me and then hiss at her 😭 sorry my girl is sick and I gotta wait a minute before we snuggle in bed 🥀 stinky brat cat

She lost a pound in a week and she’s already a small cat 💔 they sent me home with special food and an appetite stimulant since she NEEDS food for the insulin and HHNGH I know the trauma is just making me over thinking but I’m just worried :(( that’s my baby :((

She’s not doing WORSE but they wanna switch her to proper insulin doses 🥲 totally didn’t have PTSD related flashbacks in the office to my mom having diabetes and getting worse NO SIREE 🙂‍↔️ IM FINE!! 🙂‍↕️

I hope anyone who saw Bucky in her lil cat backpack on my walk to the vet is having a good day because of that

Today’s gonna be such a long day 😭 only slept for a couple hours, woke up an hour early for bucky’s meds, got a full 10 hour shift, gotta stay awake when I get home to take her for a check up a few hours later… at least I was able to switch tomorrows shift to later this week 🥲
