Education Department dismisses thousands of civil rights complaints at an ‘unheard of’ pace The department has focused its civil rights efforts on stamping out campus antisemitism since Donald Trump returned to the White House.

In court documents filed last week, the DOJ disclosed that its Office for Civil Rights dismissed 3,424 complaints between March 11 and June 27.

Parents Get Some Help from the Supreme Court The Supreme Court recently issued two landmark opinions that lighten parents’ load in their efforts to maintain their children’s innocence.

The Christian right is absolutely giddy connecting the decisions in Free Speech Coalition v Paxton and Mahmoud v Taylor as both protecting minors for "sexual material."

They plan to merge the two in legal doctrine, branding LGBTQ+ content as "pornography" — and thus subject to restriction online.

The Supreme Court just made it easier for states to defund Planned Parenthood “Today’s decision…is a dangerous green light for politicians to target any providers they don’t like."

At a time when Planned Parenthood faces unprecedented threats to its very survival, the Supreme Court added another one today.

The court ruled that if states decide to unilaterally cut off Medicaid funding to a healthcare provider—in this case Planned Parenthood—patients cannot sue to stop them.
