it’s true that overall likes are way down on bluesky over the past year. however, if you look closely at the data, that’s mostly an anomaly resulting from the fact that your posts specifically have gotten worse and are dragging the vibe down.

I respect him and never unhappy to encounter him but he has never made me laugh out loud.
Yes. Like we still sometimes have a “new famous impressionist”. It’s a sickness.

Doctor goes to see great clown Pagliacci and says “I’m so depressed from seeing all the illness and suffering in the world, but watching you perform has cheered me up” and Pagliacci says “Ah sick man, thanks, it’s good to know the stuff is connecting. Honestly I just try to do the kind of clowning I think I’d want to see, and if anyone else likes it that’s bonus. Although it does help to pay the bills, ahaha”

EVA Rebuilds are cool because it’s like “aye dummy, what if you fucked it all up major and everyone would leave you for dead or hates you now, but also you are probably not beyond growth, love, and a chance to change? don’t kill yourself, probably”
Miles saw Avatar: Fire and Ash (really loved it), Ella McCay (???), Lurker (loved it), Eternity (didn’t really like it), the filmed performance of Merrily We Roll Along 2025 (not a film but great), Zootopia 2 (fine).
Miles also saw Die Hard (great), Wake Up Dead Man (pretty good), Die Hard 2 (quite bad), The Housemaid (bad but fun) and Marty Supreme (excellent, loved it)
Anyway: December was a pretty great month at the movies.
