As we begin to wrap up the writing phase of the first of the various "Beyond Bounds: Prologues", I think it would be nice to introduce you to it too!

Prologue One: "Like Leaves Off of the Tree"

Fierce winds drive off snow and ice from the peaks of Paine Grande in Patagonia's Torres del Paine National Park. There is a whole world of drama and grandeur to be found far above in the peaks of mountains, and especially so for Patagonia!

A moment of sublime beauty as heavy clouds slowly lift, unveiling the majesty that lurks behind. Torres del Paine National Park, Patagonia, Chile.

A moment of unspeakable beauty as the last light of day touches churning clouds rushing over the jagged cliff faces of South Africa's Table Mountain.

For me there is nothing as beautiful as mountains emerging behind clearing clouds. It is magical and ethereal, and can be so in infinitely many ways. Torres del Paine National Park, Patagonia.
