The funny thing is that one of the professed goals of this blog is being the most clicked on and authoritative guides to those old games and yet for many of them there are Reddit posts that 1) hit the same optimization niches 2) do it more thoroughly and 3) show up higher in searches anyway

"Most thorough" is actually just that the guide section is deliberately (admitted by the author) set up to get a lot of SEO's attention; most of the class guides are just a hurricane of hyperlinks to her other articles.
Her most genuinely informative work are NWN module reviews and walkthroughs.

Considering Scorpia's opinion on Baldur's Gate 1 (Lilura's darling game) was somewhat less than glamorous (Scorpia's review states the game might be made for multiplayer and that's why it didn't appeal as much to her) and there's suspicion CGW added extra score to her review, then yeah, not really
