🤲 Across the globe, family carers provide care for loved ones who have disabilities or chronic illnesses. Yet their work is unpaid and invisible, forcing many to sacrifice income and education.
💞 Ashoka Fellow Anil Patel helps carers in build community and gain financial stability.
🏥 In Rwanda, public hospitals don't provide meals as part of patient care, forcing low-income patients to skip or spend up to 75% of their daily income to buy them.
🍽️ Ashoka Fellow Isabelle Kamariza created a farm-to-fork system to deliver free, medically tailored meals to patients in hospitals.
🌲️ Currently, India has very limited forest cover.
🌱 Ashoka Fellow Krutika Ravishankar is helping smallholder farmers access the carbon market transparently and safely.
