I've been hurt so many times and try to modify my personality so the next person doesn't just toss me aside but it always happens still. I'm starting to think that I, as a person, hold no value to anyone no matter what.
It sucks when people only seem to want to talk with me about one kind of thing. And when I bring up an interest we share and want to involve them with it, I just get ignored. So I just keep the convo going the way it's always been. Hoping to ride this train to a more fulfilling friendship. But nope.
Trying to juggle these thoughts of "Am I good enough to be x-person's friend? What am I doing wrong? Why don't I matter to people." It's just morale crushing. It's like I'm playing 4D chess against the negativity in my own brain.
I'm tired, y'all. Not from art or work, just in my soul.
