The Last of Us Part 2 came out in 2020. If Intergalactic is coming mid to late 2027, that would be 7+ years from one release to the next (and the first new game from Naughty Dog this gen. That means TLOU 3 is possibly even looking at a 2035 release.

I just coined a new term because of a typo. For games like TLOU that they are adapting for the screen and basically just live-action filming the cutscenes. The term is: Cinematica

Pragmata really puts the “video” in video games. Just take a good look at this single simple screenshot on Xbox Series X. Detail, ray-traced reflections and bouncing light, as well as hair physics all coming together to deliver a beautiful visual experience. So impressive.

I did a quick test of the Nintendo Switch 2 update that allows Switch 1 games to now run docked version in handheld mode and wow, it looks fantastic! Xcom 2, Mario Kart 8, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Diablo 2. Bummer there’s no frame boost, but this is an excellent update.
