found a dvd of The Wind in the Willows (1996) in an op shop and watched it for the first time in decades. such a joyfully weird children's film, a live action cartoon. with nazis. i wore out the (recorded off the tv) tape rewatching the "secret of survival" musical number and it remains a highlight.
i feel like these queer films might be your vibe (chronological):
Bride of Frankenstein
Funeral Parade of Roses
Cruising
The Hunger
A Nightmare on Elm Steet 2: Freddy's Revenge
Hellraiser
Heavenly Creatures
Young Soul Rebels
Knife+Heart
Titane
Medusa Deluxe
Femme
The People's Joker
Queens of Drama

my favourite part of traitors is how many contestants choose to give themselves extra hurdles for no reason. i want someone to come in with a fake nose next.
got drinks with the handsome @br0txt.bsky.social tonight and can confirm he's real and lovely (no pic)
sometimes my bf will walk around the apartment shirtless, do a big stretch and let out a noise similar to chewbacca, and it's not not hot
i can't believe you ratioed my blatant attempt at asking for attention by quoting me with a better shirtless photo
a mirror selfie of a shirtless, hairy bespectacled bearded white person smiling at the phone camera.
new mirror
new haircut
new apartment
... and a newly discovered grey streak in the fringe to join the sides and chest hairs
crossed the road and thought the guy coming the other way seemed familiar but couldn't place him, and i could see him kind of smile to himself as we passed so clearly my expression gave me away, and an hour later i realised he does porn.
the popular with friends feed is fascinating. amidst the thirst traps there's always some gay answering anonymous sexual questions he solicited like, "omg i can't answer that on main ππ," then you visit his profile and the last three posts are something about pokemon, a cumshot video and a hole pic.
after years of identical side effects whenever i forget to take my meds (headache, dry mouth, etc.), reminders to take them to avoid the excruciating brain zaps that follow, apparently my body has decided to skip those early warning signs completely so the zaps can sneak up and hit even harder. fun!
genuinely, in most cases it's worth asking β some will enjoy a good boy/girl even if they wouldn't like being gendered in other contexts. but if they enjoy being called sexual/degrading names (cocksucker/slut/mouth/etc.), then that can also work.

everyone please meet fatiguΓ©, an incredible gift from a friend. she's named for my favourite french word to hear while suppressing the urge to say, "same."
(it's pronounced fatty-gay)
someone i went to primary school with is now a semi-popular lefty influencer activist and it's never not odd seeing their videos pop up on social media. i remember you nerding out about lord of the rings when you were 10 and now you do tik toks about housing inequality.
sorry to sincere post, but bf and i moved into an apartment together last week and now we're all unpacked we get to find all the furniture we're missing and knick knacks and things, and it's really nice to build our little home together and make it ours.
was lovely to catch up with @apeascends.bsky.social today, who's always a joy to chat with. i yet again didn't think to take a photo until afterwards, but we both really exist and everything.
gooning feels like a real monkey paw interpretation of "i wish guys were more expressive"
introduced someone before a screening and accidentally said the entirely wrong surname, then had to sit in my embarrassment through the entire film and a Q&A with them before I was able to apologise, I was mortified (they said it wasn't a big deal).
not a spoiler to say that the last episode goes into the behind the scenes of the whole thing and how they pulled it off, it's super interesting.
got the keys to the new apartment today, did a big clean before the move tomorrow and now trying to get the last of the packing done, i'm already exhausted
my toxic trait is i take dozens of versions of the same photo, select the one i like to post/share/whatever, then never delete the other worse versions. my phone is just thousands of almost identical copies of every picture that i can't delete because i can no longer remember which was the good one.
i love when a themed photo looks like they were all given completely different briefs. alex and armando have gone all in on the american diner thing, and amy's milkshake is on theme even if the dress is less so β but the rest look like they're starring in their own entirely different scene. love.
french bf asked what the english word for masturbate was so i decided to look up some euphemisms to tell him and jesus christ, there really isn't a single remotely sexy options, is there.
