An auburn-haired female Viera walks towards Haurchefant's gravestone as a ghostly visage of her dead friend watches her. The Viera is wearing heavy metal armor and a large two-handed sword strapped to her back. In her left hand is Bravura Atma, sized for a Midlander, and is resting against her shoulder. Penitently Kynsaia approaches Haurchefant's gravestone. An axe heavy with regret and sorrow rests on her shoulders. The weapon's former luster having faded and replaced with the dried blood of its slain owner, Hydaelyn's chosen. Her cyan blue eyes, one of the few remaining parts of her body that had not yet been corrupted by Bahamut's prior tempering of her, flicked to the grave of a hero. The crunch of the snow stopping as she came before the tombstone of her friend, broken shield resting against the stone with a fresh set of white petaled flowers placed before it. Her gaze slowly shifting from the grave to the empty ground next to it, and began to speak as she made it a second memorial. "You deserved to have been buried next to a true hero and not have your body abandoned in the collapsed ruins of Dalamud," The Viera muttered to herself as her hardened gaze brought visions of Haurchefant and Hydaelyn's chosen standing before her.

The auburn haired viera now down on her knees, her right hand gripping the handle of her sword as she vainly reaches out towards the ghosts of her friends. In a moment of unfiltered rage, she brought her greatsword out from its resting place and stabbed it into the ground. Falling to her knees, her tears began to stream unabated, and her anguished scream fought the roaring winds momentarily for dominance. Slowly, her lips parted to speak once more, hoarse words shakily whispered in pain from her raw throat. "Why is it that every friend I make ends up dead instead of me! Why am I so worthy of protection... The world would be much better off under the guidance of you two than a broken thing like me...I failed to save you both, I avenged you both, but it was and will never be enough. In the end, I am nothing. I feel nothing now, but an emptiness and a howling in the back of my mind." Eyes cast upwards to imagined visages of the two standing behind their gravesites, dead eyes stare back in perceived judgement, and she simply cannot help but reach out towards them in a brief moment before her hand collapses into the snow. "If this is how it must be, then I will forever stand alone against the enemies of this star." And below it all, the Mother Crystal cracked a smile.
