I made myself in AOW4, amazing game, haven’t got the Vampire expansion yet but when I come back to it, it’ll be one of the first things on my list

i be fucking with that knight aesthetic lately
another oc sketch
Oh yeah it doesn’t show unless you stand the feder up, but ‘standard’ (by modern competition standards) feders are tall
The batch the shop got sent was supposed to be short handles & short blades, turns out they were standard. The longer handle’s better for how I fence, so I ended up keeping it ^^
(Near-full) kit setup for HEMA longsword fencing, laid out on a bed: Breeches, jacket, styrogum forearm guards, clamshell gloves, gorget, mask w/ overlay, an underplastron/chest protector off to the side, and a feder.
Hey! Just a quick one, my 27th birthday was last Friday! I never announced it here until now since I don’t tend to post on public social media so much haha ^^’
I’m gonna be going on a two-week holiday on the 23rd. Should be back in early May! Will work on returning to consistent streams after that.

Finished commission for @ashelmb.bsky.social! Made a dead space png version for him is actually cool af so I’m really have fun with this one.
I would LOVE to be in a position where I could make at least a little change off of my VA work or prose, without feeling like it’ll turn into a chore.
But I also understand that society keeps telling us that the only way creative work has value is if it’s a hustle, which is nonsense.
I did a small part of the VA work in a video essay for my friend @reziorenji.bsky.social, which he finished not too long ago ^^
The only time I would be miffed about doing a voiceover or VA role for ‘free’ is if I was promised payment that I didn’t get, or wasn’t credited for the role.
Mid-late 15th c. Arming doublet made by Historic Enterprises in blue linen, with the upper laces & collar left open. It includes 18 total eyelets at the waist on each side [for pointing/attaching plate leg harnesses], four eyelets on either upper arm [for pointing/attaching plate arm harnesses], eyelets on the shoulders [for pointing/attaching spaulders/pauldrons], and is - as of this image - completely new and ready to get trashed ^^ (I won’t worry, it’s a working garment).
15th c. partial Leg harnesses in the English style. These include upper canons/cuisses, and articulated poleyns with fan plates to protect the outside of the knee. These feature radiating, chevron-shaped fluting on the upper canons and fan plates. The character of the fluting seen here is uniquely abundant in English and similar Western European styles, in that its texture is smooth and organic. Greaves are included as part of the harness but aren’t worn here. They would normally be worn when the cuisses are pointed, so as to support the overall load. These were loosely based on Robert Harcourt’s Effigy at Stanton Harcourt in Oxford, UK (c. 1471), with a couple of personal touches I requested. (!!!Made for LARP, not reenactment!!!)

Hey again ^^ happy to say that I’ll be looking into coming back to streams very soon! Getting things ready for what’s happening later in the year and that’s been exciting, but I’d definitely say it’s been taxing and time consuming. Quality over quantity though I guess ^^’
Update on some new clank!
Oh! Doing the cuirass tomorrow too. That’s gonna be a bigger job though, it’s in four pieces minus the tassets.
Most of the surface rust is on the front and back plackart so not too much work besides those.
A gloved arm holds up a 15th c. steel bevor (plate armour similar in form and function to a gorget, which protects the lower face, neck and clavicle area), by the upper piece. The metal has been freshly cleaned and oiled. Brass rivets line the shaped plate that fits in front of the face. A buckle is attached to the right-hand side of the bevor where the neck would be, for securing a strap. The backdrop is a workshop desk with an opened plastic bottle of white spirit on the left, and on the right, a maroon rag behind a small glass bottle of ballistol. The desk has a black linoleum mat on it to protect the wood from abrasion.
Finally cleaned the bevor after several months of leaving it on the bookshelf. Made me realise that looking after your armour is kind of meditative in a way lol.
Will be taking it to get the strap punched this weekend ^^. It’s graduating from an ornament, to a piece I’m actually going to use.
Spaulder, rerebrace and couter, 3/4 of a complete mid-late 15th C. arm harness. These are all fluted extensively, with a chevron or ‘barley twist’ pattern. This was a common decoration found on plate armour in England and Northwestern Europe.
Right cuisse & poleyn, 2/3rds of a complete mid-late 15th C. leg harness. The wing plate and cuisse are fluted extensively, with a chevron or ‘barley twist’ pattern. This was a common decoration found on plate armour in England and Northwestern Europe.
Sneak peek at what I’m picking up from my armourer next month ^^ He still has to finish the leatherwork but the actual metal bits have been put together
Just wanted to say, it’s a shame that this is my first time hearing of you.
I absolutely agree, I’ve been in the VT scene since ‘21 and the people have gotten faker and faker. Gaming the system is exhausting.
It’s a shame we lost another bro because of that, but we have to do what’s best for us.

Don’t worry! Haven’t forgotten about you lot at all! Took an impromptu break from social media so I could go soul-searching, lore-writing etc.
Chapter I of my lore webnovel’s being drafted, and it’s pretty edgy if I’m being honest lol, I’d say we’re about halfway through it
A copy of Tobias Capwell’s book, ‘Masterpieces of European Arms and armour in the Wallace Collection’, sitting on top of a Nord keyboard, cover side up. The cover features the author’s name in plain text, and the title is mixed in bold golden and plain lettering (with EUROPEAN ARMS AND ARMOUR in gold). It features a profile photograph of a 16th Century plate armour harness, bust-up, which boasts an armet, pauldrons with the left bearing a haute piece, and a fully articulated gorget. The armour presented is bordered with ornamental filigree; either brass or gold.
Hey you lot ^^ Happy Holidays
This is largely just another day for me, but I did get another one of Toby Capwell’s books!
Hey you lot ^^
MAINLINE DIVINITY’S COMING BACK?! HUH?!
Guess we need to start playing through Ego Draconis onstream again, totally wasn’t the biggest inspiration for my lore, nope ^^’
Meme featuring Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil 2: Remake) in his Raccoon City PD outfit, standing in a darkly lit city backdrop, which is in the middle of a downpour. The subsequent caption (impact font) reads, ‘you know it’s raining outside when you go outside and it’s raining’
Going to be streaming some time next week! Any day is fair game aside from Monday, Wednesday and Friday, since I’m busy on those.
I do wanna play Stalker 2 but I dunno if I’d be able to run OBS & VTS with it at the same time! Amazing game mind
Definitely continuing Baldur’s Gate tho, rest assured
Sorry but uhhhhhhhhhh, I feel like I balled too close to the sun with that, so I deleted it
I appreciate that people seemed to like it, and it goes to show that I’m not shadowbanned on here, but I realised that if I want anything to pop off, it should be my VTuber content and not my RL self haha
Sentry
Btw this seems to be getting a little further out of its target audience (friends who want updates on my VTuber stuff) so just before it does more numbers,
This is N O T a NSFW account of any kind, I’m just posting progress since I started lol, wanted to clear that up ^^ I appreciate it though!
Lol thank you, would like to hope so ^^
I got into it because I genuinely enjoy lifting stuff, it’s fun, wasn’t banking on getting big but it’s a nice byproduct
The cover of ‘Armour of the English Knight: An Armourer’s Album’, by Tobias Capwell. It depicts a Knight in early 15th century fullplate harness, mounted on a white horse (presumably a courser), brandishing the haft of a spear/lance. The figure is wearing a great bascinet with a short plume at the crest, a cuirass with a long fauld, a mail shirt beneath, hourglass gauntlets, and arm/leg harnesses that are typical of the period. The foot of the cover shows that it was published by ‘Thomas Del Mar Ltd.’
Hey you lot, morning!
I’m planning on returning to streaming next week! Comic Con Bham’s this weekend and I would have gone if I had the spare money for some figures or something, but alas, I do not.
BUT. Something I preordered a while ago, has now arrived. And it was SO WORTH IT DUDE ^^
Happy to say that we have. OFFICIALLY. Paid the deposit on my arms and legs for my plate harness ^^.
It should be done by January! Seriously looking forward to it!
Images from Illuminated Manuscripts that depict a typical European dragon; green in colour, left wing outstretched, showing the shape.
Like, this sort of shape for the couters and poleyn ‘wings’.
Tbh.
In the new year. I might ask Aki if I can have some of the things from my own real armour, put into my own armour’s design. Cuz we honestly have some great ideas. We’re going to flute the couters and poleyns to look like dragon wings and shit.
LARP cuirass (Italian style), two large tassets in the front, three straps to hold the plackart, front strap, German front-fastening close, etc. - Front View

Journey to go fetch this was a nightmare, but a nightmare worth braving
We’re brainstorming ideas for arm & leg harnesses to go with this too, but probably won’t be finished until next year
Repost w/ your OC and let people comment what song they think of when they see them
