It’s important to remember that the goal of lawsuits like the one brought by Kash Patel against the Atlantic isn’t to win, it’s to cost the Atlantic as much money as possible only to drop the suit before discovery, and as red meat for the MAGA base by simply filing it.

If he's going to get a national profile on the strength of a younger woman's campaign, I'm going to come out and say it: during his short-lived tenure as a math professor, Biss had an inappropriate romantic relationship with one of his undergraduate students. I was that student.
“Bitch, what?”
In case you're wondering how slow justice moves: after the Trump administration investigated my podcast and removed me from my job at the VA in 2019, I filed a complaint.

I think people who say things like this, especially prominent people with power, should be shamed and shunned and reviled — cancelled, if you will.
“Free speech culture” disapproves of that sentiment — says that it’s worse than what Ogles said.

I would like to see Pritzker and Newsom declare a state tax receivership fund whereby citizens pay their federal tax liabilities into a state-run escrow account rather than directly to the IRS.
The state can hold these funds in trust for the federal government until Trump obeys the Impoundment Act.
“I would never call a President of the United States of any party a fucking piece of shit on a podcast, until today. He is a fucking piece of shit. This is where we are. I want to go back to an America where I can’t make the case that the president is a fucking piece of shit.”
It’s now clear that Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has been lying about his relationship with Epstein. He said he had no interactions with Epstein after 2005, yet we now know they were in business together.
Lutnick must resign or be fired. And he must answer our questions.
Lots of folks saying “this is good” but no, it very much is not.
