Really love this! Fantastic beautiful job!
Those look great! What did you use in the water for boiling?
😆
I have not had gumbo is soooooo long!
I bought it from a store in Sydney about a month ago.
I am sickened and scared.
Indeed. I’ve been single for 6 years and while I am not closed to dating, a man would have to be really flipping extraordinary for me to spend any of my time or attention on him. And even if he is, he is not getting all that much.
Was perfect in Sydney yesterday as well. Cool and sunny in the morning. Warm but not hot during the day, and relatively low humidity. Yay!
Ha!
This a CAT checkpoint. Show me the most recent cat image on your phone.
Tennessee bestie sent me this, and please don't let me find out she's a terrible terf or something - because this is a *blast*

lol “claiming”
This exercise asked for the figure to be coloured in “calm” colours. I guess I find rainbows and colour transitions claiming. #art #art365 #365DaysOfArt
Yeah, I feel the same way. ❤️
Omg they are so cute! 😍😍
I have started to put the scales around the pupil. There is a row of pink and purple scales across the top of the eye, glued onto a scape piece of wrapping paper.
Both top and bottom scales are glued onto to the dragon eye.
The final image, which is included at the start of this thread.
So I had to rethink my plan. Since I am working on my bed I was reluctant to use paint. But I am also in the process of picking colors to paint my bedroom walls. Collage with paint swatches!
My first attempt at drawing the dragon eye over the red dot. I drew the scales in black and started to colour them in green. You can see there’s circle under the green.
I had started to draw, but realised I was not going to be happy with the coloured pencil’s transparency.
Day 2
The task was to use the red dot to create an image. I decided to make it a dragon eye.

That’s disgusting. I’m pretty sure that’s illegal here.
Thank you! Happy new year!🥳
A finished crochet Mothman amigurumi sits on the back cushion of a couch. Mothman is black and has red eyes. He’s very cute!
Finished!
So I added more colour to all wedges and do a lot of smudging across all wedges. I can still see the individual pencil marks, but they are slightly softer.
I found I had to remind myself that this is not an error or a mistake but something to work with. Then I realised I could use my fingers to smudge the colours a bit, and liked how it looked for the combined colours.
Day 1: Colour wheel.
I started out trying to stay in the lines and be neat in my colouring. Of course, I did end up making marks outside the lines. #art365
The book “365 Days of Art in Colour” by Lorna Scobie sits on a lap desk next to a small set of coloured pencils. The cover of the book is a rainbow gradient with transparent black paint splotches.
I bought this art book recently and decided to document my activities here. I don’t expect myself to do this every day; I know myself way better than that. But I want to see how I learn about something I have never considered a strength of mine. #art365
lol now she is “helping”.
lol so true! My knitter brain is still trying to figure out a simple crochet stitch!
