Keep seeing people use "disinterested" when they mean "uninterested". Disinterested means you have no personal or financial stake in a decision - you have no dog in the fight.

For example, I am completely disinterested in the US Army's controversial new rifle. But I am certainly not uninterested!

Apparently they make good, if rather destructive, pets.

Last night we heard coyote howling and a very large pissed-off cat answering. This morning checked the trail cam and indeed, both coyote and bobcat seen! It's all kicking off in my back yard.

Cathy was Muckyfoot's publicist too (I suspect she did everybody in Guildford, no surprise there). She was really good. But even she couldn't rein him in.

I remember interviewing at Lionhead a long time ago and I made a joke about "how do you deal with Peter" and the person showing me around the studio said with absolute seriousness "it's a problem, but we find ways to deal with it".
