๐ฏ ... the issue is always workload. The best head teachers make space and understand that there staff need the support and making Art is a necessity not nice to have and make space for it accordingly
You have to make every rehearsal a game... add new rules each time. Don't repeat repeat repeat... start basic add more rules more aspects of "the game"... if I'm honest it is not as far away from directing "pros" as you would expect. Start with broad brushstrokes then add detail each time you return
Yes we did make some materials that I hope were very useful.... you are so right about the key being to empower the teachers and give them a few cheets and pointers and time and time again they take it and run with it and make beautiful work...
