Past het patroon: regentesk doorgaan met je eigen agenda, meerderheden in de Kamer negerend. Als de Kamer zichzelf nog serieus neemt, stellen ze een bewindspersoon tot voorbeeld. Wegwezen.

The image shows a dark sky with the Moon at upper right and Jupiter at lower left. Part of the Moon is in earthshine.
The Moon and Jupiter (at lower left). You can see three of the four large moons of Jupiter here. @leonoor.bsky.social @tubaniels.bsky.social
The image shows a dark sky over trees. Venus is visible as a bright dot over the trees below centre. Pleiades star cluster at top. Below Venus you can see two stars. Going from there to upper left you will spot another star. This is Uranus.

Goed nieuws
Nördlinger Ries in Germany 🙂
Goeie vraag!
Wonderful to know!
I do!
This one is great. I used it in a book I wrote together with @govertschilling.nl a few years ago.
Yes, image enhanced or false colour views can really be almost as beautiful as abstract art.
In the early days of better digital cameras aboard ISS some astronauts created a lot of earth art too :)
And here is another view, Jesscia Meir took 4 seconds later. Vancouver below centre. Original eol.jsc.nasa.gov/SearchPhotos... @daveatcogs.bsky.social @petervogel.bsky.social
The image shows some parallel elongated dune fields on a flat sand free terrain. At left is some high cloud casting a shadow. This image is a contrast enhanced version of the original.
Some parts of Earth almost look like art. Dunes in western Algeria. Centre of the image at 25.670 North 2.340 West. North is towards lower left. Image taken by astronaut Sophie Adenot from space station #ISS on 5 April2026. Original eol.jsc.nasa.gov/SearchPhotos... @daveatcogs.bsky.social #EarthDay
Your posting of astronomical publications is greatly appreciated!
Hierover moeten we zsm in debat www.trouw.nl/politiek/kab...
The image shows a mountain range running from right to left, becoming narrower towards left. At bottom sediment fans are visible, originating from the mountain ragne. The central and upper part of the range are covered with snow. The flat terrain further upwards in the image has a thin snow cover.

Gezond verstand en politiek gaan niet samen ....
The image shows a number of dark patches against a light bakcground. This is sunlight reflecting from the sea, making land and islands stand out dark. Salish Sea is at centre towards left. Above centre is the Strait of Georgia. A small part of Vancouver is at top. Some thin clouds at bottom and right. The border between Washington state (USA) en British Columbia (Canada) zig-zags through the image.
Sunglint off Salish Sea. San Juan Islands and Seattle in centre and lower right, Vancouver Island centre left, Vancouver a top. Image taken by astronaut Jessica Meir from space station #ISS on 5 April 2026. Original eol.jsc.nasa.gov/SearchPhotos... @daveatcogs.bsky.social @petervogel.bsky.social
Ik ben benieuwd! Ik ga in ieder geval Venus in de buurt van Uranus en de Plejaden doen :)
The image shows a cone shaped snow covered mountain with some clouds upper right of it. A faint plume of gas and dust is blowing from the top of the mountain towards lower right. At upper left the Alcantara river dumps sediment into the Ionic Sea.

:) Mooie plaat en veel succes! De lucht was kristalhelder gisteravond. Met een beetje geluk vanavond ook nog.
The image shows more or less parallel running dunes from bottom to just left of top. There are flat areas between the dunes and some rock outcrops left of centre and at top towards left. The centre of the image is 26.728 North and 7.779 East. Located in Algeria. North is towards lower right. Late afternoon sun is shining from upper right. The image shows a somewhat chaotic dune field, with must dunes running horizontally through the image. The late afternoon sun which is shining from the top highlights relief in the terrain everywhere. The centre of the image is at 23.956 North and 9.286 East in southeastern Algeria. North is towards lower right. Image ISS074-E453247 Original https://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/SearchPhotos/photo.pl?mission=ISS074&roll=E&frame=453247 Be sure to zoom in on all originals to note the incredible detail in the images.

Ziet er goed uit!
Veel succes!
Because of its size and elliptical orbit Sputnik 1 was hardly to not visible at all to the unaided eye. The large core stage of its launcher was very well visible. Most visual reports must have been of this stage.
Journalisten moeten normeren, niet normaliseren
De serieuze journalistiek heeft een existentieel probleem. En we zien het elke dag groeien. Alles wat roept, wordt nieuws. Alles wat schreeuwt, krijgt een podium. En alles wat nuance vraagt, verliest.
