I turned on the TV to see this being done to my Senator. I was crying watching the video, and not just for Senator Padilla whose office has helped my family very efficiently with small issues in the past, but for our country. This is autocracy. This is sickening. And we should all be angry about it.
Something we can all do today: Call your congressperson and/or senator’s office (regardless of their party) and tell them their constituents (who pay their salary!)want them stand for democracy ALWAYS and especially now!

Many AI companies and tech bros would be happy for #copyright protections and/or law to be hollowed out—or disappear altogether, which would only hurt all #writers and creators.

One of the few things that genuinely made me smile today.🦉😍

Oh cool! I still want to visit Sleepy Hollow one day :) And it's always great when travel leads to good story ideas 😄
Haha, that’s fair. Until now I’ve been avoiding pretty much all social media, so we’ll see how I do here. In general I’m hanging in—hope you’re doing well! (One of the only downsides to keeping off social media has been that I’ve been remiss in staying in touch with people I like!)
Loved listening to this #podcast interview with my sweet friend Alex Samuely. Alex shares some great #writingadvice for newer writers and those in the #querytrenches

Giant magenta dahlia bloom against green leafy foliage
#FirstSkeet and it feels a bit like the first day of school. Hi 👋 I’m Jennieke and I write books and stuff. After boycotting the ex-Twitter for more than a year, I’m glad to be somewhere where the sky is still blue. 😊 Here’s a giant dahlia🌸 pic just because😉

So lovely as always Jacqueline! I know I’m only one person but I always enjoy seeing your creations (and I’m rarely on IG anymore so I vote to see them here 😊)
Just joined blue sky and found this—after watching AMOLAD earlier and feeling the same way. Yay for TCM parties 🥳😁
