Do it! My experience speaking with local electeds and candidates for local office is that most have 1) never read the bills they claim to support and 2) have little substantive knowledge of policy matters.

They've honestly seemed genuinely grateful for constituents that raise awareness of issues.

Danielle Welch has stepped up to primary Tom Suozzi, who recently voted in favor of deporting folks without due process (HR1958).

She's a public defender offering folks in #NY03 a better alternative.
