When you *thought* you wrote the whole dungeon already… and the game’s in 25 minutes
Guess I’m winging the third level if they figure out how to get up there.

Tween D&D tonight featured a zombie T-Rex, an axe named Bob, and a whole lot of excited shouting.
Safe to say they had a good time—and they didn’t kill the NPC (per our previous meta-game bargain).
Thanks, @ttrpgkids.com for highlighting this game and your wonderful review again!
Honestly, it was less inspiration and more life steadied enough that I could hear myself think again.
Current idea involves some genre mixing, and it’s either going to be epic or awful—only time will tell!
After a long, unexpected hiatus, I'm back to writing RPGs!
And this time I've got a new, ridiculous premise to keep me busy for a while. Can't wait to get a completed draft (though it might be a bit still)
To the clothing company that attached a tag to my shirt with a high-quality bulb pin—
Thank you for contributing to my crafting supplies!
Sister: Too much math! I don’t want math in my hobbies.
Me, fresh from Gen Con with a crochet project in my hands:
I wanted to back your crowdfunding campaign when you were working on it, but I couldn’t justify it at the time. I was so excited to have money in my Gen Con budget for it!
An arrangement of print TTRPGs, including Tangled Blessings, Carved by the Garden, Dead Letter Society, The Librarian’s Apprentice, and more
Also spotted these amazing games by fabulous creators!
Seeing them in print was so exciting, and I loved chatting with other folks who were discovering these projects for the first time.
Cover for a book about making TTRPGs for kids. An adult is laughing with 2 children at a table with dice, a map grid, and other TTRPG accessories.
Swung back by the IPR booth and found so many great games!
But I couldn’t leave without picking up this gem by @ttrpgkids.com. I’ve been wanting a copy, and it was the perfect final purchase for my Gen Con weekend!
I was SO EXCITED to see it. Like, dragged my friend all the way to it to show her how cool you and your games are.
My con has been chaotic but lovely! Ran some games today and just hanging out doing fun stuff tomorrow.
You’re not here this year, are you?
Gen Con peeps, come play D&D with me!
I’m running a 5e adventure at 10am and 7pm with Kobold Press today, and I’d love to have you at my table!
Yes!! Just window shopping today, but I’ll be going back to support some of my game design buddies before the weekend is finished!
A stack of Bakers, Charge! booklets, a roleplaying game by TTRPGkids. The cover is white with black text and has a pie with a slice being removed.
Just went by the IPR booth at Gen Con and saw this great game by @ttrpgkids.com!
Going back tomorrow to look for games by other creators I know and love!
At Gen Con with Kobold Press!
Come play Tales of the Valiant with me tonight or Sunday—or battle your way through a 5e adventure by KP tomorrow!
Seconding both No Thank You Evil and ttrpgkids!
Tonight’s campaign is this, but the wizard is the parole officer for the barbarian.
There’s a lot of paperwork involved 😅

"Write every day" doesn't have to mean put words on the page every day, it means create space to write every day. Sitting in front of a blank page for an hour with no distractions is still writing. Do it every single day and soon enough and you'll start putting words on the page to ease the boredom.
I've been researching illithids lately for a campaign, and the number of interesting horrors that have come to mind for me to homebrew is possibly concerning...
My players are gonna love it!

Origins folks - I am leading a workshop that they labeled "Science game creation" but I don't really care what kind of game you want to make. Come go through the process I use to start a game, and make a shitty first draft! There are a few spots left. tabletop.events/conventions/...
Last night’s dungeon was a goofy carnival funhouse.
I went out on a limb and created a teleporting slide, suspecting that the tweens would stop using it after one of them succumbed to the effect.
Much to my surprise, all but one of the PCs tried the slide—as did the goats summoned by the druid!
Oh, piece of advice for players for any TTRPG out there with a dedicated GM;
The GM is a player in the game too. They should be having fun with you.
They aren't just there to tell you characters are hot, and how cool yours acts.
They are most likely your friend, and should be having fun too.
Excellent idea!
The water in the room they’re in is practically boiling, so there’s some fire/heat damage at play for melee too.
I've got about an hour to come up with a stat block for my swarm of rubber duckies.
My big idea so far? A barrage of quacking that deals damage.
The tweens are gonna love it! (I hope)
