New comic! Small groups of animals can be unpredictable, yet sheepdogs and their handlers direct them with style. The study just came out in Science Advances with a beautiful, mid-stride sheepdog on the cover! Congrats to the authors, Tuhin Chakrabortty (featured in the comic) and Saad Bhamla.

I personally really like that idea. What gets done in the class is ultimately up to the students. Students choose their collaborators and discuss the intended audience with their collaborator. Also, we previously worked with @nicoleackermans.com on a comic about head injury! 🐐🧠

I have dreams of running a summer program for amphibious folks like us, but that dream may need to wait until after tenure. 😅

The undermining of public trust in science continues. Scientific funding is being squeezed and subject to censorship. Come practice your science communication skills and collaborate with a fellow curious and creative human to share your science. 🌟

Excited to help bring this to New England graphic medicine creators!

While this zine does feature snippets of genAI material for educational purposes, everything else was created by me on my office floor, couch, and in the occasional cafe.

'Prompted' reflects on how every student is inimitable and what educators can do to keep them engaged. It also features sugar glider teeth, family group chats, and giant (genAI) rat genitalia.
