Mealworms, suet and fat balls during summer. And cleaning regularly. It’s what we do anyway.

We have two bird tables and they are cleaned regularly. I think it’s feeders which are left to get dirty and not cleaned which are the issue.
Really need to stop* buying new motorbike gear…
Goldtop Bobber gloves in blue leather acquired to match my blue RST leather jacket.
*not stop 😂
Took my Mum out tonight for a lovely Indian meal to celebrate her 85th birthday. A good time was had by all.
Watching Rocky III… it’s training montage time.
80s training montages are just a class above anything else.
Gonna fly now…
Yeah I know. He turned 30 in January. Mad how time disappears so quickly.
Thanks! She arrived on Saturday 12 days early 😀
Visited my son and daughter-in-law today to see my Granddaughter. Had a lovely cuddle with Stevie.
Not sure about that but I could always buy her some Honda gear 🏍️ 😀
Woody has always acted like a puppy so seeing him slow down isn’t nice.
Thanks. Everyone is doing really well.
Woody is 13 years old today. He was always like a puppy but he’s slowed down a lot in recent months and it’s difficult to see. Most of his days are spent sleeping on the sofa. He can sleep there for as long as he wants for me.
Thanks 😀 She’s lovely.
On Saturday 4th April I was lucky enough to welcome my granddaughter into the world.
I’m overjoyed 😁
First ride on the bike with the new chain and sprocket set on this afternoon. It’s made a huge difference to the gear change. It’s loads smoother and quieter. I now realise that they all need changing last year.
Little Dennis is 9 years old today.
😂 easy-peasy! That was the hardest bit. Actually installing the sprockets was simple. Chain was a little more complicated due to having to rivet it on but buying the correct tool made it simpler to do.
Had to get the brake disk inbetween the pads, keep it in place, make sure two spacers (one each side) were in the correct place - kept falling out - then thread the axle though the swing arm, spacer, wheel, spacer, swing arm all whilst keeping the wheel in the air in line with everything.
It’s relatively straightforward but I didn’t rush to make sure I got it right. Had to buy a chain breaker and riveting tool so it cost me £40 more than the parts cost. Got the tool for good now. Hardest bit was getting the back wheel back in place.
Said to my better half that I would take her out to somewhere expensive.
Took her to the petrol station.
I put a new chain and sprocket set on my bike today. First time I’ve put a new set on a bike in 40 years.
Bike has passed its MOT. Only one advisory - noisy exhaust - which is standard if you haven’t got a stock exhaust. No chance of having a stock exhaust on a bike which is 34 years old.
Two years today since I bought the Honda. One of my best decisions of recent times. Still loving riding it.
Tom and his Mini Schnauzer Spencer won Best of Breed and Best in Group at Crufts yesterday. Let’s hope they win Best in Show today. We got to know Tom quite well during our time in the show circuit. He’s a lovely guy who helped us out quite a lot. Really hope they win.
It’s the score that should have been.

Dry weekend enabled me to get out on the bike twice. Blue skies and sunshine today made for a great ride out.
Score is the wrong way around.
