I went to Elland Road and found a defiant, intimidating bear pit Leeds United’s gritty home stands apart from the Premier League’s sanitised norm – vote for the top flight’s best atmosphere at the bottom

Three days after the unpleasant iftar booing, I went to Elland Road to try to get my head around its atmosphere www.telegraph.co.uk/football/202...

BBC should spare us the tears in their Winter Olympics cheerleading These Games have a unique ability to hook sport-sceptics and the coverage was compelling – until the presenters started crying

Loved the Winter Olympics and almost all of the TV coverage of it. Such a great antidote to the perma-fury of most other sport. www.telegraph.co.uk/olympics/202...

Lineker and YouTubers locked in a box without the football: A show as bad as it sounds Sky Sports’ online offering left former MotD presenter ‘feeling like an idiot’ but at least there were some classy retro shirts on display

Watched In The Box, in which starry Arsenal and Spurs fans (and Gary Lineker) volunteered to be locked in a room during NLD. Found it an awkward mix of the new (YouTubers performing authentic fandom) and old (throw money at celebs) ways of making TV www.telegraph.co.uk/football/202...

I flew to Italy to watch Juventus... and it was cheaper than going to a Premier League game Exorbitant cost of rail fares at home mean flying to Italy is cheaper, but how do the two match-day experiences compare for value for money?

Bravely went to Juve vs Inter in Turin on Saturday, to see if I could do it cheaper from London than Sunderland vs Brentford two weeks earlier. Can I just shock you?

I agree! It’s wearing. And suspect it’s driven by fans consuming mainly on telly rather than the (frequently more equamimious) match attending lot

I really enjoyed the Birmingham Tom Brady doc, found it far more interesting than its many similar predecessors, largely because it makes no attempt to paint Brady as cuddly / relatable. It's funny, too
