Most material comes from our excavations, mainly the former hospital and leprosarium of St Mary Magdalene, and some from Buckfastleigh Holy Trinity, Devon and Meonstoke, plus some UK loans staff are working on. It's all UK material, no idea why it's reported in a piece about overseas material...

Yeah, this isn't right. The FOI request had 2 seperate questions: 'How many individual items of human remains are recorded on a database?' (30488) & 'How many individuals are represented by the items of human remains held?' (148 min.)
