Going by they them is freeing because I don't have the feeling I need to follow the "rules" that come with being he/him. They aren't actual rules and nothing was stopping me before, but now I feel like I have a real, tangible reason

Going by they/them is pretty freeing to me personally, not even just socially. Just not having the burden of social gender norms, even if they are really arbitrary I feel like they don't apply to me anymore and I can ignore them.
