I think they thought it was 2017 and Dems were still in their “my norms” mindset.
That is over.

We will now see how serious the NBA is about concussions, because if he has one, he should absolutely miss at least one more game and probably two or three
The lowest it got for W Bush *after* Katrina and *after* the Great Recession / Financial Crisis was well under way was 25%.
So I think you are correct -- that is the absolute floor.
Maybe all the correspondents who helped get us into this mess by pulling out their fainting couches for the withdrawal in Afghanistan can bring it up with Trump -- via pocket square -- at the WH Correspondents Dinner
So just so I understand (and this isn't unique to any one state): the state of Kentucky has budget difficulties, so is cutting funding to universities, which respond (in part) by dramatically increasing spending / red ink on athletics?
Seems sustainable

Gotta give Kaitlin Collins credit—she is completely schooling that hack Marty Makary.
- Why’d you cancel MRNA vax research on cancer?
Because we wanted to spend money elsewhere
- That’s not what was said when you cancelled it
Ummm…we canceled it to focus on neglected areas, like cancer
Picture of Ernie Hudson from when he was 78. He is wearing a tight black tshirt over muscled arms & chest. He looks like he is about 40-50 years old.
With respect, that's from awhile ago.
Here is a more recent picture, and as you can clearly see...
SON A BITCH!
Picture of the musician Sting holding a bass guitar. He looks in an incredible shape for someone in his 50s, let alone someone in his 70s.
For no reason, here is a picture of Sting.
He's 74, and he'll play us out.
I thought of that 😉, but I don't *think* it's too far a bridge to assume that Lauren Jobs is not a tech bro / nepo baby dickhead like Bezos, Musk, Ellison, etc.
Like Connie Ballmer, billionaire women seem to be authentically committed to saving media outlets.
This is all true, but seeing as The Atlantic is owed by someone who is worth $14,000,000,000, there is literally no other media entity in America better able to shake off item 2.
which (ironically) I think will shift votes to McMorrow.
There are plenty of Dems (who are concerned about electability in the general against Rogers and won't want a candidate who gets attached, even through one degree of separation, to Candace Owens, Hezbollah etc

I agree El-Sayed has been disciplined, which is why this is bad: he will be forced into a decision on this.
He can't just say "I vehemently agree w the tweets" and that's the end. He'll have to decide whether to support Makled (I think he will). Stevens will go after that hard 1/2
(Medium) hot take: I think this is bad for Abdul El-Sayed's prospects.
This will force him to either a) back Makled and his problematic social media posts or b) decline to back Makled which would cause a fissure in his support.
Distance himself from a “Track AIPAC” image that doesn’t actually track AIPAC?
Those stats are not AIPAC donations. Read the actual text. You are being lied to, and you‘re promoting it,
The first non-NBA player who I knew could really hoop.

The number of, "We'll take a look at it" that must have been said during this meeting yesterday had to exceed 20+.
Investors would crush any oil company that agrees to drill more while Trump is continually promising the Strait will be open in a day. Uninvestable.

What a coincidence: my spy name is Tanqueray Detestable.
"The panel said the image captured a moment lasting less than two seconds..."
The video, obtained and reviewed by The Inquirer, shows McElree with his arm wrapped around the girl’s neck...for at least seven seconds"
Just bald-faced lying. Videotaping these goons is required bravery.
Why are brain damaged (not a joke) people being put on TV to talk?
I don't have much time today. I have a lot of work to do. So I am going to sit here for the next three hours, focus, and do nothing else until I get it all done.
*three minutes later*
Google, why is Chris Isaak in Silence of the Lambs?
This is why we need to elect Gretchen Whitmer as President so someone who call them “party stores” can talk about the economy on national TV.
Beyond the individual coaches, the entire sport should take at least *one day* to focus on celebrating a champion. Grow the game!
There have been some historically great teams lately. All the pods, SportsCenters, etc the day after should be focused on that, not "did you hear who just got signed?"
What a great story by @latimes.com
Dude played the Sunset Strip in the 80s, didn't quite make it, so became a mailman. Still plays metal
Sounds like a great guy. Also an example of how the Postal Service provide(d) generational opportunities to black & brown folks

People have not driven or flown across Pennsylvania (our 5th most populous state!) and it shows.
I once had to get off the interstate bc of an accident, and took county roads for about 3 hours. There was basically no one except for occasional towns that looked like Slapshot was just shot there.
Because they only have so much time at the hearing. And even if they played it, he would say it was edited / taken out of context / made with AI / pick your lie.
There is only so much you can do with shameless liars in an unfriendly media environment.
This is good work by the congresswoman & her team, esp the sign w his picture (important!) along w the quote.
I don't know how you fully combat the bald-faced lies: they literally list the date & location of when he said it. If they played a recording, he would blame AI or editing. Just exhausting.
As someone who watched him a lot on the Pistons in the 2010s and has only seen him sporadically since, that *is* a fun fact.
Silver isn’t beating the soft allegations.
Well, at least the Iran War was good for one thing
