Spent the morning catching up with the incomparable Heather Hiscox, who is so greatly missed at CBC and in homes across the country.
We had a lot to talk about including the Olympics and Paralympics. Our best to all of you wherever this finds you.

The first semifinal starts now between Northern United and Typhoon. Back to mixed doubles, men’s 4s and women’s 4s. Have to win two of three to advance to the final.

That’s moves Shield to 2-2. Frontier drops to 1-3 overall.

Day four at Rock League begins with a battle between Canadian vs American franchises. Shield vs Frontier right now at Mattamy. Both teams at one win. Massive swing match.

It came down to the last rock across the three sheets and Bella Wrana delivers a hit for three and the win over Shield. Northern United is 2-0. Shield drops to 1-1.

Day two at Rock League begins with two undefeated teams pitted against each other. Northern United vs Shield to get us going.

A career at CBC that spanned nearly 40 years across news and sports. Oh how I miss her.
