4/4 …which was played on the Lloyd organ by John Pryer, who extended this short jazzy piece with one of his inimitable and brilliantly inventive improvisations.
The whole recital was clearly enjoyed by the large audience present.
3/4 The remainder of the program was performed on the Walker organ by David Saint, Paul Carr, and Nigel Morris with the exception of Behnke’s Go Tell it on the Mountain…
2/4 With Nigel Morris at the main Walker organ, John Pryer at the chancel Lloyd organ, and Paul Carr on the chamber organ, the recital opened with Bach’s famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor, different sections being played by each organ creating interesting surround-sound and echo effects.
